Tsubaki Group's Policy on Product Packaging

The Tsubaki Group has established standards for packaging of both our products and procured materials ("packaging"). The standards are intended to reduce the environmental burden on customers and society. In keeping with the standards, we are using environmentally friendly packaging and promoting the 3Rs with regard to packaging.

Basic Stance

  1. The Tsubaki Group will take distribution into consideration when packaging its products, gradually improving the packaging for all products beginning with standard packaging. For specified customers, we will improve packaging in consultation with the customer.

  2. Each division and Group company, including construction and exports departments, will assist in creating environmentally friendly packaging for each product. We will actively investigate packaging initiatives at other companies to gather more information.

  3. We will require that our suppliers understand the Group's packaging policy and simplify their packaging.

  4. We will cooperate with customers and suppliers to practically resolve packaging issues by clarifying the Group's responsibility in response to the packaging demand of customers (society).
