1.Locking Principles and Features

Locking Principles
  • Designed to suit a wide range of shaft tolerances (except for KP models). Standard models can accommodate plus shaft tolerances of servomotors, etc.
  • Excellent for locking small shafts, such as the output shafts of servomotors and small stepping motors.
  • The stainless steel (SS) and electroless nickel-plated (KP) models require no oil/grease lubrication at the time of installation.
  • Allows for more compact design, with the smaller difference between the inner and outer diameters, than with the AE Series .
  • Introducing a new Low Contact Pressure type that can be used with small diameter hubs.

2.Structure

Structure
  • The KE Series Power-Locks are simply constructed of the followings three parts: inner and outer rings, and a few locking bolts. Simply tighten these bolts to achieve a completely secure connection.
