RS Chain with top rollers

Product photo
  • A free flow chain using an RS Chain base with a raised link plate with freely rotating top rollers attached.
  • The width of the chain itself is smaller than other free flow chains. The top rollers are supported by plates on both sides, making the chain ideal for rugged free flow conveyors.
  • We have a lineup of Standard specifications, Lambda (lube-free) specifications, and SS (stainless steel) specifications.
  • *We also manufacture NP specifications (nickel plating), so please contact us.

Application

  • Ideal for conveying heavy objects at low speeds, and especially is often used in automotive production equipment.

About each specification

Standard Series

  • ・All base chain parts including the rollers use heat treated hardened steel.
  • ・Top rollers available in plastic or steel.
  • ・Operating Temperature Range :-10℃~150℃
  • ・Requires additional lubrication

Lambda (Lube-free) specifications

  • ・Uses special oil-impregnated sintered bushes for lube-free, long life operation. (Steel top rollers still require additional lubrication. )
  • ・Top rollers available in plastic or steel.
  • ・While it has the same allowable load as standard series, the inner and outer plates have been treated with a black oxide coating for identification purposes.
  • ・Operating Temperature Range :-10℃~150℃
  • ・Avoid use around chemicals or in water, or in washing/degreasing applications.

SS (Stainless Steel) specifications

  • ・Base chain and base chain rollers use 18-8SUS(SUS304 equivalent) stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

Notes
 1. For the sake of convenience, the base chain is the part of the chain with the top rollers removed.
 2. ※1 Steel top rollers require additional lubrication, even if the base chain is Lambda Chain.
 3. ※2 If the chain base is SS specification, it will be a stainless steel roller.

When selecting sprocket specifications

It is necessary to select a sprocket specification that corresponds to the customer's operating environment and the chain specification used.

Please use standard RS steel sprockets for RS chain with top rollers.
