Tsubakimoto Chain Launches Tsubaki Lambda Chain for Food Processing Equipment
--Uses highly safe, NSF certified lubricating oil and anti-corrosive oil--
Tsubakimoto Chain Co., Ltd. (President: Tatsuhiko Mimoto) has enhanced its lineup of long-life, lube-free Lambda Chain with the addition of Lambda Chain for food processing equipment. This highly safe Lambda Chain uses NSF certified lubricating oil and anti-corrosive oil (Note 1). Sales of the new chain will start on October 1.
Tsubaki Lambda Chain for food processing equipment
In recent years, the demand for lube-free chains for use in industrial equipment has been increasing. The use of these chains results in reduced maintenance man-hours, improved work environments, and increased productivity. Tsubakimoto Chain developed the Lambda Chain, the industry's first lube-free chains. With special oil-impregnated bushings, these chains offer improvements of 5 to 14 times in wear life in comparison with standard chains. Since their development in 1988, the Company has expanded its lineup of Lambda chains and enhanced their functionality, for which these chains are highly regarded in a wide range of industries and applications.
The newly launched Lambda chain for food processing equipment uses highly safe food equipment lubricating oil (NSF-H3 certified) in the oil impregnated bushing and food equipment anti-corrosive oil (NSF-H1 certified) to prevent chain corrosion. These products will meet needs for improving performance in food processing equipment, such as increasing safety, reducing lubrication man hours, and improving work environments.
