Tsubaki Emerson introduces Low Dust-Generating Grease for Screw Shafts
Best Suitable for Lubricating Ball Screws in Clean Rooms
On February 1, 2008, Tsubaki Emerson Co. (Headquarters: Nagaokakyo, Kyoto, Japan; President: Hideo Miyazaki) began sales of "LD Grease, low dust-generating grease for screw shafts" developed by the company for lubricating ball screws in clean room environments.
There are growing needs for low dust-generating driving mechanisms meeting clean room specifications in the liquid-crystal (LC), semiconductor (SC) and other industries. To meet the demand, Tsubaki Emerson launched the "LD LINIPOWER Jack (low dust-generating type)", a linear actuator in January 2005. The LINIPOWER Jack series is widely used in glass feeding/laminating processes in LC and SC manufacturing and other applications, and has enjoyed a high reputation in the market.
In clean room environments, where these linear actuators and ball screws are frequently used, maintenance lubricant is absolutely necessary. To accommodate the needs of industry, Tsubaki Emerson developed "LD Grease: Low dust-generating grease for screw shafts", a lubricant with low dust-generating characteristics, an essential property for clean room applications, as well as exceptional extreme-pressure characteristics suited for ball screws used under heavy load.
The "LD Grease: Low dust-generating grease" can be perfectly applicable to linear actuators (our product names: LINIPOWER Jack, Power Cylinder) as well as to various ball screws.
