Tsubakimoto Chain Introduces the New Tsubaki Oil-Resistant Ultra PX Belt
High Power, High Precision Timing Belt with Excellent Oil-Resistance
Introduction
Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. Chairman and President: Takashi Fukunaga) has added the Oil-Resistant Ultra PX Belt, a timing belt that can be used in oily environments, to its Ultra PX Series. Sales of the new product will commence October 1.
Tsubaki Oil-Resistant Ultra PX Belt (UP8M-HA)
The Tsubaki Ultra PX Belt combines a variety of high-strength materials with the PX tooth profile to increase high-load transmission, improve belt life, and enable compact design. This latest addition to the Ultra PX family features oil-resistant specifications.
Features
- Oil-Resistant Design
Highly oil-resistant rubber materials allow the belt to be used in oily environments without swelling*1 or other factors that can adversely affect its physical properties.
*1 Swelling: Here refers to a phenomenon wherein the belt absorbs oil and expands. - High Power
Transmission capacity equivalent to the HC Type Ultra PX (approximately twice the capacity of a standard Tsubaki timing belt) and allows compact equipment design. - High Precision
High-strength, low-elongation core fibers minimize post-attachment operational (i.e. permanent) elongation and changes in tension, and provide stable, high-precision transmission.
Applications
The Oil-Resistant Ultra PX is perfect for use with machine tools, forming equipment, and all kinds of automated machinery.
