Tsubaki Emerson to Release Precision Planetary Gear Reducer PAT-B Series
High performance, Compact, Low noise
Product Release
Tsubaki Emerson Co. (President: Tadashi Ichikawa; Headquarters: Nagaokakyo, Kyoto; A subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Chain Co.) will release the PAT-B Series on October 1, a new series of high-performance, compact, low-noise precision planetary gear reducers.
The PAT-B Series
The widespread use of servo motors continues to raise the bar for performance of gear reducers for servo motors. While Tsubaki Emerson currently offers the TERVO series of gear reducers for servo motors, using either a helical, hypoid, or worm gear, the newly released PAT-B Series of precision planetary gear reducers address the need for a low-backlash reducer suitable for greater positioning accuracy.
This release extends our line-up of servo motor gear reducers to allow customers to select the model best suited to their application.
Features
- Environmental resistance
The stainless steel housing and output shaft provide excellent rust-proof and anti-corrosive properties, making the PAT-B Series ideal for clean-room environments. - Low backlash, low noise
The precision helical planetary gears have low backlash and achieve the lowest noise level in the industry. - Compact
The annulus is machined directly in the housing for a compact design that contributes to downsizing of the overall machine. - Heavy load bearing
Double-row angular ball bearings used in the output shaft provide excellent load bearing for both thrust (axial direction) and radial loads (perpendicular to the shaft). - Wide variation
The line-up offers 7 shaft sizes in both straight and right-angle types, with 15 gear reduction ratios. Flanges are available for various servo motor makes.
Applications
Suitable for a wide range of applications including dedicated machines, conveying equipment, food manufacturing machines, and packaging machines.
