Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. President and Representative Director: Isamu Osa) announces the founding of Tsubaki India Power Transmission Private Limited, a subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Singapore Pte. Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Chain, Headquarters: Singapore. President: Yasushi Ohara). The new company is scheduled to start operations on June 1, as part of the company's efforts to strengthen sales of general industrial machinery parts in the fast-growing Indian market.

Purpose of Founding the New Company

The company has been doing business in the Indian market up to now through Tsubakimoto Singapore. By launching this new company now, the company's aim is to conduct more carefully customer-targeted sales activities and to deploy technical services more rapidly in the Indian market, which is expected to undergo further growth as a rising developing nation market.
