Establishing a General Industrial Machinery Parts Sales Company in Germany
Strengthening Marketing Activities in Germany
Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. President: Isamu Osa) will establish Tsubaki Deutschland GmbH, a sales company, in a suburb of Munich, Germany, as a strategic European base for general industrial machinery parts (industrial machinery chains, power transmission products). Tsubaki Deutschland will start business on October 1 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Europe (Headquarters: The Netherlands. President: Masaya Ushida), a subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Chain.
Purpose of Founding the New Company
Increasing Tsubakimoto Chain's share in the European market was stated as one of the priority issues in the "2012 Medium-term Business Plan." To continue expanding sales in Europe's largest market, Germany, it was determined to be necessary to conduct marketing activities specific to the local market environment and provide technical services. For this reason, a new sales company will be established in Germany as the fourth European base after Tsubakimoto Europe (The Netherlands), Tsubakimoto U.K. (United Kingdom), and KabelSchlepp (Headquarters: Wenden, Germany).
This new company will capture OEMs in close contact with the German market and strengthen our sales network, and in cooperation with KabelSchlepp which became a subsidiary in April, it will also move forward to penetrate into German industries such as machine tools, heavy industry, and mining, and attempt to expand sales of general industrial machinery parts and spread the Tsubaki brand to end users.
The company will also have full-time technical/sales representatives for the automotive parts business and will be utilized as a base to penetrate into German automobile manufactures.
