Product Types

Slightly Corrosion Resistant
Surface Treated Roller Chain (NP)

RS® Roller Chain that has been coated with a glossy nickel plating.
In addition to its attractive outer appearance, it offers slight corrosion resistance that enables use in environments where the chain may come into contact with water.
* Maximum allowable load is reduced by 15% in comparison to our RS® Roller Chain, so make sure to take this into consideration when selecting chain.

Surface Treated Roller Chain (WP)

RS® Roller Chain with a special surface treatment.
Superior corrosion resistance in wet environments compared to plated roller chain.
Same kW ratings as RS® Roller Chain.

Poly Steel Chain (PC)

This chain uses SUS304 for the pins and pin link plates (clips are SUS301), white engineering plastic for the inner links, and is lube-free, low noise (5dB lower than RS® Roller Chains) and lightweight.
Ambient temperature: -10°C to +80°C (+14°F to +176°F)

Corrosion Resistant
Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS)

Roller chain made of SUS304 stainless steel (clips are SUS301). It offers greater corrosion resistance than RS® Roller Chain, NP Roller Chain and WP Roller Chain.
It can be used in water, acid, alkaline, and other corrosive environments as well as in a wide range of temperatures (-20°C to +400°C (-4°F to +752°F)).
Although SUS304 stainless steel has almost no magnetic properties, Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS) is manufactured using cold forming, which causes a weak level of magnetism to exist.

Highly Corrosion Resistant
Stainless Steel Roller Chain (LS)

Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS) (SUS304) with a black plastic engineered sleeve between the pins and bushings. (PAT.)
Roller material is available in SUS304 or white engineered plastic.

Stainless Steel Roller Chain (AS)

Roller chain that uses heat-treated precipitation hardened stainless steel for the pins and rollers, and SUS304 stainless steel for the link plates and bushings (clips are SUS301).
Maximum allowable load is 1.5 times greater than Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS). Corrosion resistance is slightly lower than that of Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS).
Suitable when anti-corrosiveness and heat resistance (-20°C to +400°C (-4°F to +752°F)) are required, and when Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS) is unable to meet the needs of chain downsizing or is limited in transmission capabilities.
Heavy duty Stainless Steel Roller Chain (AS) has magnetic properties due to the use of heat treated precipitation hardened stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Roller Chain (NS)

Roller chain made of SUS316 stainless steel.
Superior corrosion resistance to SS.

Titanium Roller Chain (TI)

This titanium roller chain made is non-magnetic and offers a high level of corrosion resistance.
Suitable for water, acid, alkaline, and other corrosive environments.

Poly Steel Chain (PC-SY)

This chain consists of pins and outer links made of titanium and inner links made of special engineered plastic (matte white).
It is suitable for when the corrosion resistance of Poly Steel Chain (PC) is insufficient.
Ambient temperature is -10°C to +80°C (+14°F to +176°F).
Note that the maximum allowable load is approximately 60% that of Poly Steel Chain (PC).

Cold Resistant
Roller Chain (KT)

Can be used in colder environments than RS® Roller Chain.
Ambient temperature is -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +140°F).
Suitable when the same kW ratings as RS® Roller Chain are required.

Pitting Corrosion Resistant
Anti-Pitting Roller Chain (APP)

Pin is specially surface treated.
Protects the pins in outdoor, coastal, and other environments where pitting is common.
