Top Chains

Plastic Top Chains : Plastic Top Chain

BACK

Top plates and chains are made of engineering plastic and are connected using engineering plastic or stainless steel pins. Other types feature plates of engineering plastic combined with steel, nickel-plated steel, lube-free steel, or stainless steel base chains. Yet another type includes rollers attached to two strands of stainless steel or nickel plated chains. The rollers rotate freely and reduce line pressure during accumulation. Plastic top chains are used mainly in the food processing, beverage, dairy, and packaging industries.

Product Types

Linear Conveyance
TTP

Worldwide standard shape. Can be used for a diverse range of applications. Wide rage of plate widths available. Can accommodate a wide range of conveyed object sizes.

TTPH

Comb-toothed plates minimize gaps between links. Ideal for conveying unstable containers such as PET bottles and dessert cups. Same basic dimensions as TTP plastic top chain. Can provide stable container conveyance simply by replacing the chain.

TPF/TPS

With 1.5 times the allowable load of TTP plastic top chain, TPF/TPS plastic top chain is ideal for conveying heavier containers.

TPH

Diverse conveyance applications thanks to the multi-hinge construction. Surface top is flatter and smoother. Effective in preventing container wobbling and tip over during conveyance. Same basic dimensions as TPS plastic top chain. Can provide stable container conveyance simply by replacing the chain.

TPM

Chain pitch is approximately one-half (19.265mm) of conventional conveyor chains, effectively lowering conveyor noise levels and reducing the gap between the end of one conveyor and the start of the next conveyor. Equipped with float-preventive tabs which keeps the chain securely in position on corner turns and in incline/decline sections, as well as prevents damage (scratches, etc.) to the top surface of the plates on the return path.

TPM-SN

Chain pitch is approximately one-half (19.265mm) of conventional conveyor chains, effectively lowering conveyor noise levels and reducing the gap between the end of one conveyor and the start of the next conveyor. Equipped with float-preventive tabs which keeps the chain securely in position on corner turns and in incline/decline sections, as well as prevents damage (scratches, etc.) to the top surface of the plates on the return path.

TN Snap Top Chain

A heavy duty top chain with steel base chain. Suitable for heavy loads and long conveyor applications because of high allowable chain load (except for SS and PC types). Replacing top plates is simple and easy. Base chain types available for operating in environments where corrosion could be a problem.

TPRF

With a plate width of 50mm and 1 inch pitch, this plastic top chain is idea for conveying small objects and/or containers.

ST Roller Table

Wideness of roller table allows for less line pressure during accumulation. Objects may be loaded from the side.

RT Roller Table

Wideness of roller table allows for less line pressure during accumulation.

Curved Conveyance
TTUP Plastic Top Chain

There is a great variety of plastic materials to choose from for the TTP side-flexing conveyor chain. (Minimum side-flex radius of 600mm)

TTUPH Plastic Top Chain

TTPH is side-flexing conveyor chain with comb-toothed plates to minimize gaps between links. Ideal for conveying unstable containers such as PET bottles and dessert cups. (Minimum side-flex radius of 500mm)

TPU Plastic Top Chain

A TPS side-flexing conveyor chain, it has float preventive taps which keep the chain securely positioned on corner turns and in incline/decline sections. (Minimum side-flex radius of 500mm)

TPUM Plastic Top Chain

A side-flexing TPM conveyor chain with a chain pitch approximately one-half of conventional conveyor chains, effectively lowering conveyor noise levels and reducing the gap between one end of the conveyor and the start of the next.

TPUSR Plastic Top Chain

Small side-flex radius (150mm) provides more flexibility in the layout of conveyor lines. Ideal for conveyance in tight spaces. Available with top plates 82.6mm wide and 55.0mm wide. (The height of the link differs for two types)

TNU Snap Top Chain

A side-flexing TN conveyor chain with a steel base chain allowing for heavier loads and longer conveyor applications. (Minimum side flex radius of 500mm)

TPUN Plastic Top chain
  • Small side-flex radius (150mm) provides more flexibility in the layout of conveyor lines. Ideal for conveyance in tight spaces.
  • Has 1.8 times the allowable load of TTUP allowing it to be used in conditions where a load is placed on the chain.
