1. Features

Minimum chain pitch of 4.5mm in Tsubaki's Top Chain line-up
Enable a simple conveyor design. In addition, it can be used as a transfer unit between conveyors thanks to minimized dead space between conveyors.
Made of PEEK plastic (polyether ether ketone plastic)
Plastic Modular Chain made of PEEK resin, of which crystalline resin with excellent heat resistance (max. 150°C), chemical resistance, and sliding characteristics.It can even be used in vacuums thanks to superior radiation resistance and less outgassing.
Conforms to food sanitation regulations
WT0405-W Series conforms to Japan's Food Sanitation Act (MHLW Notification No. 370) and the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).

2. Applications

Heat resistant and conforms food sanitation regulations
Ideal for use in high temperature environments such as drying furnaces/ovens, or for entrance transfer units on ovens and the like.
Chemical resistant
Ideal in environments that use chemicals for cleaning/sterilization in filling chambers
Ideal in vacuums
Conveyors and the like used in vacuums.

3. Application examples of adjoining layout between conveyors

The use of R2.5mm nose bars enables adjoining layout between conveyors, and reduces the distance of separation to 13mm because dead plates are not required.
