SnapCover® Chain

Steel chain used in combination with plastic covers.

Features a high allowable load while minimizing scratches to items placed directly on the chain for conveyance.

Base chain specifications:

  • Standard series
  • NP Series (nickel plating)
  • Lambda Series (lube-free)
  • SS Series (18-8 stainless steel)
Snap Cover Chain


  • Has a higher allowable load than plastic block chain (7x RSP60 for RS60-SC), making it ideal for long conveyor layouts.
  • Uses plastic for the covers that directly convey items, thereby preventing scratches on the items.
  • Selection of six chain pitches available for use in a wide variety of applications.

2. Construction and connecting links

The connecting links are designed especially for SnapCover Chains.

  • Connecting link plates can be removed because plastic covers are attached.
  • Be aware that SnapCover Chain cannot use standard connecting links (cotter pins/spring clips).

  5. (5) *CL is used only when there are connecting links.

Used in general applications. Connecting links can be easily identified.* Used to prevent dust from clinging to the chain from static electricity, and to prevent electrical noise and sparks.

Cannot be used in conjunction with Electroconducive Series in order to preserve its electroconducive properties.
