Notice regarding changes to model numbers for Timing Pulleys Products Information
We will be changing the model numbers of Timing Pulleys on April 1, 2017.
- Affected models
1. Details of change
- Material notation
- Clarified steel and aluminum. Aluminum shown as [Code: A]. Steel [Code: S] has been abolished.
- Cylindrical Pulleys
- Cylindrical Pulleys
- Fit Bore Easy Finished Bore Type
- We have expanded variations of shaft bore chamfer, keyway size, and tap size. The available range has been greatly expanded.
2. Examples of model number changes
Standard Stock Pulleys model numbers
Previously the presence or absence of the material code differed depending on the size. From now on, we will unify the classification of steel and aluminum for all pulleys to be clear.
Comparison of old model numbers and new model numbers
An example in which the base pulley is aluminum but there is no code A given. Here, A will be given.

[Belt models]: T = T tooth profile, AT = AT tooth profile, RPP = RPP tooth profile
Cylindrical Pulley model numbers
Since the base pulley material is aluminum, the material is shown with the code [-A]. In addition, although the flange set sales code [-S] previously meant that steel was used, set sales are now standard so this code has been abolished.
