Notice regarding changes to model numbers for Tsubaki sprockets Products Information

We will be changing the model numbers for sprockets on April 1, 2017.

Affected models

1. Details of changes

Hardened teeth specifications
Hardened teeth specifications are shown with [Code: Q] for clarity.
Hub type
Double Pitch Chain Sprocket shows hub type.
Fit Bore Easy Finished Bore Type
We have expanded the variety of shaft bore chamfers, keyway sizes, and tap sizes available. The available range has been greatly expanded.

2. Examples of model number changes

Details of new Standard Pilot Bore RS Sprocket [steel, stainless steel, plastic] model numbers

  • Material for various sizes with small numbers of teeth and solid machined hubs using carbon steel for machine structural use are hardened teeth specifications, so [code: Q] will be added.
  • Although standard pilot bore types with unhardened teeth that have had their teeth hardened were treated as Strong Type in the past, they will now be differentiated by [Code: Q] and [Code: Blank].
  • Although the Single Dual (SD) Type was shown as having a [- (hyphen)] between the hub type and the number of teeth in the past, it will not be so denoted in the future. Since the teeth of all standards are hardened, [Code: Q] will be added.
