Product Types
Lambda Chain
Painting the inner and outer plates black has added more corrosion resistance and given the chain a high-grade finish. To ensure compatibility with RS Roller Chain, the inner plate is one size thicker with the same tensile strength and maximum allowable load as RS Roller Chain. Thus, pins are longer than with the RS Roller Chain, so interference with equipment should be checked.
BS Lambda Chain
Lambda Chain that conforms to ISO 606 B series standards. The dimensions are fully interchangeable with existing BS chains.Specially shaped pins are used on single-strand 08B to 16B sizes to enable easy chain disassembly using a standard chain breaker.
Surface Treated Lambda Chain
The plates and rollers of this Lambda Chain are surface-treated to increase corrosion resistance.
- NP Specifications: Plates and rollers have a special nickel plating for low level corrosion resistance
- NEP Specifications: Plates and rollers undergo NEP treatment to increase corrosion resistance
Long Life Lambda Chain (X-Lambda)
The definitive lube-free roller chain.
More than 5 times the wear resistance of Lambda Chain through the use of oil-impregnated felt seals.

Heavy Duty Lambda Chain
The same strength as RS Roller Chains is achieved, even with double-strand chains, by increasing the thickness of the outer and inner plates by one sizeNote: Special sprockets required.
Curved Lambda Chain
This sideflexing roller chain offers large bending capabilities thanks to the uniquely constructed pins and bushes and large clearance between the link plates.
The ability to use RS standard sprockets makes curved transmission simple.
Lambda Chain KF Series
Due to the special NSF-H1 certified lubrication impregnated bushes, Lambda Chain® KF Series is usable in a wide temperature range (from room temperature to 230°C), and for food product applications while at the same time being kind to the environment.
