Moving Hearts and Minds Through Technology and the “Art of Moving”
Since its founding in 1917, Tsubakimoto Chain has continued to support movement around the world as a manufacturer of products in a wide range of fields, including machine parts and conveyor systems.
Today, the Tsubaki brand can be found in 26 countries and regions across the globe. As stated in our corporate philosophy, Tsubaki is dedicated to advancing the “art of moving” beyond expectations and helping to solve various environmental and social issues, as well as taking on new business challenges, through a wide variety of business activities.
The Osaka Healthcare Pavilion in the Future Society Showcase at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (the Osaka prefectural and municipal exhibit) shares this same attitude toward the creation of new value in the medical and healthcare fields. By sponsoring and participating in the pavilion, Tsubaki hopes to provide Expo-goers an in-depth look at the company’s stance toward solving social issues, including medical care and disaster countermeasures, while continuing to strive for technological innovation.

Let’s create a wearable robot using your body movements and VR!
Theme Harmony between Human and Machine
Under the theme, "Harmony between Human and Machine," and from the unique perspective of a global manufacturing company, the Tsubaki booth offers the chance to experience advanced physical capabilities.
As a group of professionals dedicated to the "art of moving" a variety of objects, Tsubaki is creating experiences that not only move the body but also touch your heart, by combining body movement with VR technology.
Tsubaki aims to deliver new possibilities and exciting new experiences through robotics-wear (wearable robots) based on technology developed in the Human Assist business—a field the company is currently focusing on—and inspired by power-assist suits.
Semi-customized robotics-wear (wearable robots) services from Tsubaki

By 2050, robots will be able to be 'worn' like clothing, allowing anyone to freely fly through the air and lift heavy objects with ease... Through robotics wear (wearable robots), we envision a future society where physical abilities are enhanced and augmented, not only transforming daily life but also playing a key role in healthcare and disaster response.
Our booth, 'T's Exoskeleton,' is inspired by the concept of a tailor that creates 'wearable robots.' Using 'body movement + VR,' we collect data from two experiences: ① flying and ② lifting, to configure the 'ideal wearable robot' tailored just for you.
