Tsubaki BSF Feeder Conveyors in Eco-related Industries
A feeder designed for receiving materials.
Tsubaki BSF Feeder is a simple yet tough feeder combining belts and conveyor chains, and it's designed for receiving materials
Features and Conveying Capacity -- BSF Feeder
- The receiving height is low, and refuse pits are not required. In addition, materials can be directly received from a truck by lowering the back plate of the hopper.
- This feeder is economical as spillage conveyors are not necessary.
- Enables inclined conveyance from the feeding process with one unit.
- Provides easy maintenance and high strength compared to belt feeders thanks to its structure combining conveyor chains/slat plates with rubber belts.
- Uses conveyor chains, so tension can be adjusted easily with no slipping.
Conveying capacity
Model number | Maximum conveying capacity (m3/h) H = 450mm | ||
---|---|---|---|
S = 5m/min | S = 10m/min | S = 15m/min | |
BSF010 | 95 | 195 | 290 |
BSF016 | 180 | 355 | 535 |
BSF020 | 230 | 460 | 690 |
- Note: This diagram is created based on the assumption that the tilt angle of the feeder is 0° (horizontal) and conveyed materials can maintain a height (H). The table above shows max. conveyed capacity of each model no. as a guideline. Actual capacity depends on the tilt angle of the feeder or the slip angle of conveyed materials. For the tilt angle of the feeder, 0° , 5° , 10°, 15°, and 20° are standard.

Application examples
Points of caution
- Cannot handle high-temperature conveyed materials (over 70°C).
- Avoid using BSF Feeder for conveying liquid materials such as slurry.
- Avoid using BSF Feeder for conveying materials including much oil or hard/sharp edges as they will cause early degradation of the rubber.
