In an effort to increase sales in Southeast Asia, Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Yasushi Ohara) has established a sales company in Vietnam. The new venture, Tsubakimoto Vietnam Co., Ltd., will begin operations on April 1 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Singapore Pte. Ltd. (Headquarters: Singapore; President: Osamu Kawakami), itself a subsidiary of Tsubakimoto Chain.

Tsubakimoto Singapore Pte. Ltd. represented the Tsubaki Group’s first effort to expand sales in the same territory. The addition of this new sales company will enable the Tsubaki Group to more closely target its sales and technical services to regional customers in the key industries of cement, foodstuffs, harbors, and iron and steel.
