Strengthening Manufacturing and Sales in North America
In an effort to strengthen manufacturing and sales in North America, Tsubakimoto Chain Co. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Yasushi Ohara), through its wholly owned subsidiary Tsubaki of Canada Limited, has acquired Dia-Saw Manufacturing Ltd., a sprocket manufacturing and sales company located in Vancouver, Canada.
Through this acquisition, we will be able to take hold of a manufacturing facility in Western Canada where one of the main industries, the forestry industry, is concentrated. We will also be able to expand sales of MTO/altered sprockets and mill chain by offering short-term delivery through local manufacturing and offer more meticulous sales and technical services to the local customers in the region.
