- Q. 5What kind of coating do you apply to One-Touch Inspection Doors?

P series is rust-colored with a baked primary coating for the main body (no coating for heat resistant types), and its levers/pins/cotter pins are unichrome-plated. Q series is pickled (no coating) for the main body, and levers/pins/cotter pins are unichrome-plated. R series is all-pickled (no coating).
- Q. 6How do you pack One-Touch Inspection Doors?

Standard types with neoprene rubber gaskets are packed in boxes with the gaskets and levers unattached. Heat resistant types are packed in high-neck type boxes with gaskets and levers attached .

Yes. Silicone rubber meets food standards.
- Q. 8Can I purchase gaskets, levers, and hinges as parts?

Yes. These parts are available as replacement parts.
- Q. 9What kind of adhesive do you use for the gaskets?

Polyethylene foam and neoprene rubber gaskets come with double-sided tape. Silicone rubber gaskets use a KE-45T adhesive produced by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. Ceramic gaskets use a 1109J Threebond. Gaskets for pressure resistant types are packed with Bond G Clear (20g) produced by Konishi Co., Ltd.
- Q. 10What is the difference between standard and heat resistant types?

A heat resistant type uses specially designed gaskets and come with a gasket stopper frame. No coating is applied to the P series. Size 4 has four levers.
- Q. 11Is it possible to attach a screen to an existing One-Touch Inspection Door later?

Yes, screens and other fixing parts are available for sale (Welding fixing parts needed). T-Guard designed for One-Touch Inspection Door (screen can be attached later with no welding needed) is also available.
- Q. 12Can I purchase just the door for replacement?

Yes, as an MTO product. Delivery is about three weeks.

- Q. 13About how much pressure can a standard One-Touch Inspection Door withstand?

Test results for P2-N and P3-N show that they can withstand 4.9kPa (ref. 0.05kgf/cm2), although this is not a guaranteed value. The value will decrease with gasket degradation.

- Q. 15Is it possible to heighten the frame of high-neck type?

The frame height can be max. 280mm. Available as MTO products.
- Q. 16Are transparent windows available for heat resistant types? Also, are glass windows available instead of acrylic resin ones?

No. Transparent windows must be used below 80ºC. The window is thin (2-3mm) and will break if glass is used instead of acrylic resin.
- Q. 17Is there any instruction manual?

Yes, we include it in the package when the product is shipped.

Yes, you can download CAD data from our website. Data is only available for standard type P series.
