Notice regarding Tsubaki Lambda Chain

It has come to our attention that under very limited operating conditions Tsubaki Lambda Drive Chain (lube free chain) manufactured prior to June 1, 2015, may have a longer wear life than Lambda Drive Chain manufactured after that. This may occur in operations with a chain speed less than 55m/min and a load factor under 50% of the chains kW ratings. For #120 and #140, chain speed is not a factor but users may see a difference in performance if the load factor is less than 50% of the kW ratings. No differences in performance have been noted with Lambda Conveyor Chain or KF Series Lambda Chain.
